When a large fleet of PEVs connects to the electric grid, their aggregated batteries represent significant distributed energy storage. Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology enables PEVs to have a bilateral power flow exchange with the upstream network; thus, they can either draw power from or inject power back into the grid during peak demand.
